Material Specialist

Our client, a leading organization in Electronic Manufacturing, is seeking a dedicated Material Specialist to join their team. As a Material Specialist, you will be an essential part of the operations team supporting efficient material handling and inventory management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, teamwork, and a proactive approach to process improvement, which will align successfully within the organization.

** 9-12 Month Contract

** Shift:
** 7:00AM - 3:00PM

** What's the Job?*
* + Perform established materials-related procedures to ensure smooth handling from receiving to shipment of goods.

+ Verify the usability of received goods and accurately count shipments using appropriate methods and equipment.

+ Fill shop orders, shippers, and other requests accurately and promptly.

+ Handle materials with care, utilizing proper storage and shelving techniques.

+ Enter and maintain data accurately in various systems, ensuring inventory records are precise and up-to-date.

** What's Needed?*
* + High school education or GED equivalent.

+ Normal vision, hearing, and dexterity suitable for the role.

+ Physical ability to lift, carry, or maneuver up to 40 pounds.

+ Ability to stand throughout the workday.

+ Effective verbal and written communication skills to interact with customers, suppliers, and team members.
