CNC Machinist Opportunity
Join a growing precision manufacturing team in Elk River, MN! We're looking for skilled CNC machinists to operate Swiss, lathe, and milling machines in a clean, high-tech environment. Location:
Elk River, MN Wage: $18 – $28/hr, depending on experience
Hours:
1st Shift: 6:00 am – 4:30 pm, Monday – Thursday, and 6:00 am – 12:00 pm on Friday (Overtime required)
2nd Shift: 4:30 pm – 6:30 am, Monday – Thursday (Friday overtime optional)

Duties of the Swiss machinist:
- Set up and operate CNC Swiss, lathe, and milling machines to produce precision parts
- Monitor machining processes and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality standards
- Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring tools
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to ensure production goals are met
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Troubleshoot and correct machine or tooling issues as needed
Requirements of the Swiss machinist:
- Previous CNC machining experience required (Swiss, lathe, or mill)
- Setup and/or programming experience preferred
- Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring instruments
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work overtime as needed
