Experienced Machinist Weekend Position

Work 36 hours and get paid for 40! Join a growing precision manufacturing team in Elk River, MN! We're seeking experienced machinists to operate single spindle and multi spindle CNC machines in a fast-paced, clean, and innovative environment. Location:

Elk River, MN Wage: $18 – $28/hr. (based on experience and skill level)

Hours:

Day shift: 6:30 am – 6:30 pm, Friday – Sunday Night shift: 5:30 pm – 6:00 am, Friday – Sunday

Duties of the experienced machinist weekend:

Set up and operate single spindle and multi spindle CNC machines
Monitor machining operations to ensure precision and quality
Utilize precision measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers
Make necessary adjustments to maintain production efficiency
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Work closely with supervisors and team members to meet production goals
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Requirements of the experienced machinist weekend:

2+ years of machining experience required
Experience operating CNC equipment; setup and programming skills a plus
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
Willingness to work overtime when needed
Dependable, safety-focused, and motivated to learn and grow
