Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Mixing Operator workers for a food production company in Elk River, MN. In this role, you’ll help create high-quality frozen dessert products by accurately mixing and blending ingredients while maintaining food safety, quality, and production standards. Mix and blend ingredients according to recipes, formulas, and batch sheets

Operate mixers, blenders, scales, and other food processing equipment

Follow food safety, sanitation, GMP, and allergen-handling requirements

Verify lot codes and complete production paperwork accurately

Calculate batch times and ingredient amounts to minimize waste and maintain quality

Follow special procedures for freezer and mixing areas

Work with team members to meet daily production goals and safety expectations

Foundational knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and personal hygiene practices

Ability to follow recipes, specifications, and work instructions accurately

Experience with food processing equipment such as mixers, blenders, and scales preferred

Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and communication skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods

Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed
