CNC Machinist Position

Twin City Staffing is hiring a CNC machinist to join a growing precision manufacturing team in Elk River, MN! In this role, you will set up and operate single- and multi-spindle CNC machinery, interpret complex blueprints, and conduct quality checks using precision tools. Duties of the CNC machinist:

• Set up, adjust, and operate single-spindle and multi-spindle CNC machinery
• Read and interpret complex blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical schematics
• Inspect finished parts using precision tools including micrometers, calipers, and height gauges
• Perform offsets, tool changes, and machine adjustments to maintain production tolerances

Requirements of the CNC machinist:

• Minimum 2+ years of hands-on CNC machining experience operating single- or multi-spindle machines
• Proficiency utilizing precision inspection equipment, including calipers and micrometers
• Experience with CNC setup and basic programming is preferred
• Physical capability to stand for extended shifts and lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively
• Flexibility to work mandatory overtime as production demand requires
