Customer Sales Representative

Salary Range: $16.00 to $18.00 hourly

Job Type: Part‑time (20‑35 hours weekly) with flexible schedule across days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

At Spikes and Houles, we need a Customer Sales Representative to provide exceptional service in our fast‑paced store. The role includes handling a wide variety of lawn and garden products, operating cash registers, assisting with product recommendations and warranties, managing store organization, and operating warehouse equipment.

• Greeting customers and providing personalized solutions.
• Assisting with product recommendations, warranties, and replacement parts.
• Keeping the store organized and stocked with seasonal items.
• Operating cash registers and managing payment transactions.
• Maintaining outdoor displays and helping customers with purchases, including carry‑out service.
• Safely handling live chicks and other seasonal products.
• Operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment to unload trucks and pull customer orders.
• Contributing to the store’s visual displays and keeping everything neat and tidy.

• Must be at least 18 years of age to cross‑train on warehouse equipment.
• 1+ year of customer service and cash handling experience preferred.
• Open availability, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand for 8‑10 hours, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform physical tasks such as bending and stooping.
• Love for customer service, with excellent communication and listening skills.
