We are looking for someone to join us in the role of Rental Advisor.

· Additional Employee Discounts and Perks Primary duties will consist of but not limited to:

Greet Customers as they arrive

Process rental paperwork

Handle customer questions/inquiries/complaints

Work to resolve overdue car rentals

Ensure the cars are clean, full of gas and ready for customers

File rental paperwork

Responsible for keeping an accurate and up to date rental log to ensure enough vehicles are ready for customers

Work with Advisors/BDC/Sales to schedule rentals ensuring log is updated as needed-ex:
Repair on vehicle is not completed rental is needed for longer

Walk around each rental return to check for damage, if available.

Make certain all rentals are maintained with oil changes, recalls, washer fluid, etc.

Wash vehicles, clean interior windows & dash, vacuum before giving to a customer

In the winter, pull rentals off the lot for plowing, clear all windshields and start rentals that are going out that day. If any are going out in the morning, pull them into the drive.

Assist Porters with duties when the drive is busy Shuttle customers

Pull vehicles around for customers

Pull emergency vehicles out of the drive in the morning

Bag & tag vehicles

Keep the drive clean and dry (to prevent tripping)
Assist Advisors with duties when the drive is busy

Help with walkarounds

Bring them copies

Education and/or

Experience:

One year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Current, valid Drivers License with driving record that meets insurance company standards

Willing to submit and the ability to pass a pre-employment background check

Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written

Good working relations with customers by providing courteous, efficient and professional service

Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment

Detail-oriented, professional appearance and strong work ethic

Be a team player and willing to work on personal/group goals
