As a Security Officer in Elk River, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer at a leading aerospace and defense location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and help to deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license.

Full Time Pay Rate: $26.01 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time Thur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sat 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Sun 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You'll Do:
* Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
* Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
* Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
* Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor activity, and/or deliveries in accordance with location protocols for an aerospace and defense environment.
* Report maintenance issues, hazards, and/or suspicious behavior to appropriate personnel while supporting daily operations and security-related concerns at the site.

Minimum Requirements:

* A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
* Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
* Customer service experience is preferred.
* Access control and badge experience is preferred.
* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
