This full‑time position is for a seasoned Foundation Drill Rig Operator to join a valued client partner. The role involves operating foundation drilling equipment for commercial, industrial, and civil construction projects. The successful candidate will safely operate specialized drilling equipment, maintain production schedules, and ensure each project is completed with precision, quality, and a strong commitment to job site safety. The position requires an individual who thrives in outdoor construction environments and takes pride in delivering accurate, efficient work.
Key Responsibilities- Set up and safely operate foundation drill rigs according to engineering plans and project specifications.
- Execute precision drilling operations supporting deep foundation systems, retaining structures, and soil stabilization projects.
- Perform pre‑operation inspections and routine preventative maintenance on drilling equipment.
- Identify and troubleshoot mechanical or operational issues to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate drilling depth, alignment, and production requirements throughout each project.
- Follow all OSHA regulations, company safety procedures, and site‑specific requirements.
- Complete daily production reports, equipment inspections, and job documentation.
- Coordinate effectively with project managers, superintendents, survey crews, and field personnel.
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and operational readiness between projects.
- Represent the company professionally while maintaining productivity and quality standards on every job site.
- Minimum 3 years of experience operating foundation drill rigs or comparable heavy drilling equipment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to recognize and troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Experience working on active construction sites while maintaining strict safety standards.
- Ability to interpret project plans and follow drilling specifications.
- Commitment to quality workmanship and production efficiency.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to safely lift, climb, bend, and perform physically demanding work.
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
- Authorized to work in the United States.

- 4–5 years of foundation drill rig operating experience.
- Experience supporting large commercial, industrial, infrastructure, civil, or heavy sitework projects.
- Familiarity with deep foundation construction techniques and soil support systems.
- Experience performing routine equipment maintenance and field diagnostics.
- OSHA safety certifications or other construction safety credentials.
- CDL or other heavy equipment certifications.
- Demonstrated history of safe equipment operation with minimal downtime.
- Stable employment history reflecting long-term commitment to heavy civil construction.
- Compensation: $50,000–$95,000 annually
