A well‑established company in Elkhart, Indiana is seeking a detail‑oriented Accountant to support daily financial operations, month‑end close, and general ledger accuracy. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys analytical work, problem‑solving, and contributing to a collaborative accounting team. The Accountant will play a key role in maintaining financial integrity and supporting leadership with timely, accurate reporting.

• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments
• Reconcile general ledger accounts, bank statements, and balance sheet schedules
• Assist with month‑end and year‑end close processes
• Support preparation of financial statements and internal management reports
• Maintain fixed asset schedules and depreciation entries
• Review AP/AR transactions for accuracy and proper coding
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Provide documentation for audits and compliance requirements
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve discrepancies

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 1–4 years of accounting experience (corporate or public)
• Strong understanding of GAAP and general ledger processes
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (Quick Books, Net Suite, SAP, Sage, etc.)
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
