Drive Cost Accounting & Profitability Analysis
Own key cost accounting activities, including margin analysis, variance reporting, trend identification, and forecasting. Help leadership understand what's driving profitability and where opportunities exist for improvement.
Manage Product Costing & BOM AccuracySupport item creation and maintenance within the ERP system, ensuring Bills of Materials, pricing structures, and product costs are accurate and reliable.
Analyze Cost of Goods SoldMonitor and forecast COGS performance while ensuring actual costs are properly recorded and reported. Partner with operations to improve visibility into production costs and inventory impacts.
Partner Across the BusinessWork collaboratively with operations, production, and accounting teams to identify solutions, improve processes, and support business growth.
Support Financial Reporting & PlanningProvide meaningful analysis and recommendations that help management make informed operational and financial decisions.
What You Bring:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of accounting experience
- At least 1 year of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics preferred)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to interpret financial data and identify trends
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Accountants who enjoy understanding how a business actually makes money
