We are seeking a Technology Portfolio & Delivery Manager to create transparency across the technology portfolio and personally lead selected high-priority initiatives from planning through implementation.
This role sits at the intersection of portfolio governance and hands-on project delivery. You will build real plans, maintain a clear view of risks and dependencies, coordinate stakeholders, facilitate practical trade-off discussions, and help drive priority work to the finish line. Success comes through project leadership, influence, disciplined follow-through, and trusted partnership across the business and IT.
What You’ll DoTechnology Portfolio Governance & Visibility- Maintain a decision-ready portfolio view. Track objectives, milestones, status, dependencies, risks, resource constraints, and required decisions across technology programs, projects, and initiatives.
- Build practical intake and governance. Establish and continuously improve routines so new demand is consistently documented, assessed, sequenced, and routed for leadership review.
- Facilitate planning and prioritization. Coordinate roadmap discussions, provide objective analysis and practical recommendations, and ensure decisions remain with the appropriate leaders.
- Create clear executive reporting. Prepare concise dashboards, portfolio reviews, steering committee materials, status summaries, decision logs, and action tracking.
- Support investment decisions. Organize and validate information for business cases, capacity planning, benefits tracking, and value-focused portfolio discussions.
- Surface cross-portfolio risk early. Identify resource conflicts, dependencies, and systemic delivery risks; coordinate resolution and escalation when leadership action is required.
- Lead selected priority initiatives end to end. Manage work from initiation through implementation, stabilization, and transition to operations.
- Turn direction into executable plans. Define scope, outcomes, milestones, work streams, roles, decision rights, governance, and success measures.
- Use disciplined delivery controls. Build and maintain schedules, RAID logs, dependency maps, communication plans, status reports, change controls, readiness checklists, and cutover plans.
- Coordinate cross-functional contributors. Align business, technical, vendor, and functional teams; clarify ownership, maintain momentum, and drive timely follow-through.
- Manage risk and remove blockers. Monitor scope, schedule, quality, risk, and readiness; resolve issues at the working level and elevate with clear options and recommendations.
- Tailor the delivery approach. Apply Agile, waterfall, or hybrid practices based on the initiative while maintaining appropriate governance and documentation.
- Drive implementation readiness. Lead stakeholder communication, cutover preparation, handoff, post-launch stabilization, and lessons-learned activities.
- Connect business priorities with technology delivery. Build trusted relationships across IT, business functions, Finance, Operations, and other stakeholders.
- Facilitate difficult trade-off conversations. Help stakeholders reach workable agreements when priorities, resources, or viewpoints differ.
- Improve the operating system for delivery. Strengthen standards, templates, tools, data quality, reporting, and governance practices to increase consistency and efficiency.
- Coach through project leadership. Mentor project leads and team members in planning, risk management, governance, and delivery discipline.
