Construction Sales Representative

Key Responsibilities

• Perform on‑site assessments and evaluate insulation needs based on building plans, specs, and field conditions.
• Interpret architectural drawings
  , mechanical plans
  , and project documents to prepare accurate takeoffs and proposals.
• Advise builders and contractors on insulation systems, code requirements, and building‑envelope performance.
• Build strong relationships with GCs, superintendents, and project managers.
• Generate business through contractor networks, jobsite visits, and industry relationships.
• Coordinate with installation crews to ensure scope accuracy, schedule alignment, and quality execution.
• Maintain detailed CRM records, follow‑ups, and project documentation.

• Background in construction
  , building materials
  , estimating
  , field supervision
  , or trade sales
  .
• Strong ability to read and interpret construction plans
  .
• Experience working with builders, remodelers, or commercial contractors.
• Knowledge of insulation, fireproofing, or building‑envelope systems is a major plus.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.

This role involves regular travel to job sites and customer locations. Candidates must be able to stand and walk for extended periods, climb stairs or ladders, and occasionally lift 25–30 lbs of product samples. Work may occur in indoor and outdoor environments with varying weather and site conditions. Adequate vision, hearing, and manual dexterity are required for reviewing plans and using mobile devices.
