Schedule:
8.0 hours per day; 261 days per year.
Qualifications:A minimum of 3 years of full-time experience in a communications-related field; a team player with a motivated and positive personality; demonstrated skill in written communications, publicity, promotions, event management, and staff relations; outstanding writing, communications, organization, and leadership skills; bachelor's degree or higher academic degree required or equivalent experience; a broad background and knowledge of public radio; computer literacy required - competency in Microsoft Office, Google Office Suite, Adobe Design Standard Suite, Drupal or Wordpress, and HTML;
familiarity with Google Analytics, API, and CRM; willingness to represent the station in the community. Must display a pattern of regular and timely attendance.
WVPE is looking for a full-time web manager who will help expand our impact on platforms beyond radio. With a journalist's eye, this person will use metrics to maximize the social media experience using selected stories and programs for fellow members and listeners. This person will also help organize station events.
