Qualifications:

Required:

48 hours of earned college credit at an institution of higher education, or obtained an associate's degree (or higher), or met a rigorous standard of quality and can demonstrate through a formal State or local assessment; (a) knowledge of and the ability to assist in instructing reading, writing and mathematics or (b) knowledge of, and the ability to assist in instructing reading readiness, as appropriate;

sensitivity toward needs of English Language Learners;
