Wchs Performing Arts Extracurricular Roles

This role supports performing arts related duties. The ideal candidate promotes an appreciation for teamwork, displaying and demonstrating our core values.

Essential Functions:

• Maintain a high level of professionalism.
• Assists with one or more performing arts extracurricular activities (e.g., school play, musical, drama club, dance, or performance ensemble).
• Attend auditions, rehearsals, and performances outside of regular school hours.
• Collaborate with other staff members, including music directors, choreographers, set designers, and volunteers.

Qualifications:

• Experience in theater, performing arts, directing, or arts education (preferred).
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work evenings and occasional weekends as needed.

- Essential Functions:

• Performs other duties as assigned by the Performing Arts Director and building administration.

Physical Requirements:

• The job typically involves some combination of walking, standing and sitting, and may involve some lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling of objects and materials of moderate weight (up to 50 pounds).
• Some chores of this job may require heavy lifting or other physical abilities often associated with manual labor.

Sensory Requirements:

• The ability to communicate verbally in person, via phone or email if applicable.

Environmental Factors:

• Tasks are regularly performed with exposure to adverse environmental conditions, such as dirt, dust, pollen, odors, wetness, humidity, rain, temperature, and noise extremes.
• Exposure to machinery, vibrations, electric currents, traffic hazards, animals/wildlife, toxic/poisonous agents, disease, or pathogenic substances is not typical.
