Elementary Occupational Therapist School in Elkhart

Seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist eager to work closely with elementary-aged students for a full-time contract assignment running from August 10, 2026, to May 28, 2027. Key

Qualifications:

• Current Occupational Therapist license, or eligibility for licensure, in Indiana
• Experience working with elementary-aged children, preferably in a school setting
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to tailor strategies and interventions to student-specific needs
• Comfortable working onsite in a dynamic educational environment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to identify students’ functional needs within the school setting
• Develop and implement individualized plans that support access to curriculum and full participation in classroom activities
• Provide direct therapy services to students, adapting activities to each child’s developmental stage and abilities
• Collaborate regularly with teachers, administrators, and families to monitor student progress and adjust plans as necessary
• Participate in IEP meetings, preparing thorough documentation and progress reports
• Offer guidance and resources to school staff regarding strategies and tools that can aid student success
