Integration Subject Matter Expert

Elite Executive Partners is seeking an experienced Integration Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support telecom facility operations, network integration, and infrastructure deployment activities. This role is responsible for overseeing the integration of telecom equipment, coordinating cross‑functional technical teams, troubleshooting complex network issues, and ensuring all installations meet customer, carrier, and industry standards.

The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of telecom systems, fiber infrastructure, transport equipment, power systems, and facility integration processes within a central office, headend, or data center environment.

• Serve as the primary technical expert for integration projects within the facility.
• Coordinate installation, testing, turn‑up, and commissioning of telecom equipment and network systems.
• Support integration of transport, switching, routing, wireless, and fiber‑optic systems.
• Review engineering drawings, MOPs (Methods of Procedure), and implementation plans for accuracy and compliance.
• Perform system validation, troubleshooting, and root‑cause analysis for integration issues.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, vendors, and field technicians to ensure successful project delivery.
• Ensure compliance with customer standards, safety procedures, and telecom industry best practices.
• Monitor project timelines and provide technical guidance during maintenance windows and cutovers.
• Maintain accurate documentation, inventory records, and network integration reports.
• Support facility readiness activities including power, grounding, cabling, and rack integration.
• Provide mentorship and technical leadership to junior technicians and integration teams.

• 5+ years of integration, network operations, or infrastructure experience.
• Strong understanding of telecom facility environments including central offices, data centers, or wireless sites.
• Experience with fiber optics, transport equipment, routers, switches, and telecom power systems.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and network diagrams.
• Familiarity with carrier standards, structured cabling, and network testing procedures.
• Experience supporting equipment vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, Nokia, Ciena, Ericsson, Fujitsu, or similar.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.

• Technical certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, BICSI, Fiber Optic Certification, or equivalent.
• Experience with DWDM, SONET, MPLS, LTE/5G, or IP transport networks.
• OSHA or telecom safety training certifications.
• Military telecom or critical infrastructure experience is a plus.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in telecom facilities, equipment rooms, and data center environments.
• Comfortable standing, climbing ladders, and working around powered equipment.
