We need three Manufacturing Engineers now. They must have machining and remediation experience. Locations in IN and OH. Anyone from Client or related companies would be great.
We are seeking skilled Manufacturing Engineers with strong experience in machining and remediation to join our client's team in Indiana and Ohio. The ideal candidate will have a background in medical device or regulated manufacturing environments and be able to drive process improvements, support production, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support machining operations, ensuring components meet quality, cost, and delivery goals.
- Provide engineering expertise in process remediation activities to align with regulatory and quality requirements.
- Develop, document, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Quality, Design, Production) to address issues and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with FDA, ISO, and other applicable regulations/standards (if medical device).
- Prepare technical documentation including work instructions, validation protocols, and reports.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering in medical device industry.
- Hands-on experience with machining (CNC, milling, turning, etc.).
- Proven experience in remediation projects within a regulated environment.
- Strong understanding of GD&T, technical drawings, and tolerancing.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing, process validation, and CAPA is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
