Develop, recommend, and troubleshoot tooling and equipment and manufacturing processes. Ensure new product launch success. Define and implement cost savings and process improvements.

• Prepares work to be cost estimated by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
• Evaluates manufacturing processes by designing and conducting research, applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials; conferring with equipment vendors; soliciting observations from operators.
• Design, recommend, and advise on manufacturing tools, fixtures, and fabrication equipment including repair and build.
• Light design for stamping dies, locating fixtures and machining fixtures.
• Provide troubleshooting of metal forming operations, including stamping, welding and press brake.
• Create and maintain inspection drawings of parts using AutoCAD and Inventor.
• Create and maintain Process Inspection Boards.
• Develop manufacturing processes and improvements.
• Assure product quality by developing robust processes, inspection methods, and tooling.
• Contribute to quoting of new work through analyzing previous performance and developing process workflows.
• Launch new programs and assist with creating tooling, machining trials and improvements.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Safety glasses with side shields as required.
• Steel toed/metatarsal safety shoes as required.
• Earplugs as required.

• High School Diploma, 2-year Technical/engineering degree – BS in Engineering preferred (experience can substitute for degree).
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience.
• CNC programming a plus, as is Elumatic (ELU) experience.
• MS Office (including Word and Excel).
