Engineering Technician (Solid Works/AutoCAD)
Our client, a custom manufacturing and foam fabrication company, is seeking an Engineering Technician to join their team. As an Engineering Technician, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting the Engineering and Production Teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location:
Elkhart, IN Pay Range:
Starting at $20/hour and up depending on experience
- Design and modify products using Solid Works and/or AutoCAD to meet customer requirements.
- Create prototypes, samples, and technical drawings to support new product development.
- Program manufacturing equipment and assist in developing efficient production processes.
- Analyze and troubleshoot production issues while identifying opportunities to reduce waste and improve quality.
- Collaborate with customers, engineering, and production teams to ensure products meet specifications and expectations.
- Experience with Solid Works and/or AutoCAD through work, internship, technical training, or academic projects.
- Associate degree, technical diploma, or related education in Mechanical Design, Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Technology, or a similar field.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in manufacturing processes.
- Ability to analyze problems, troubleshoot issues, and develop practical solutions.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.

- Exposure to product development, CAD design, machine programming, and process improvement.
- Work closely with customers and cross-functional teams on a variety of projects.
