The Senior Mechanical Engineer's primary responsibilities are in developing systems and components necessary to support the product plan. Responsible for assuring that systems adhere to standards set forth by the US Coast Guard (USCG) and American Boat and Yacht Council (ABYC). Responsible for assuring that boat systems perform in a safe and reliable manner throughout the expected service life of the product.
Primary focus on New Product Development and PDM; supports current product, customer service, product compliance, audit personnel and production team associates. Provides technical assistance to internal departments during product installation and to resolve operational problems. Assists in the development and validation of sales material.
