Position: Assistant Controller
Location: Elkhart, IN (100% onsite)

- Assist the Controller in managing accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Maintain and monitor internal controls to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis by providing detailed financial data and insights.
- Prepare and review financial statements and management reports.
- Supervise and mentor the accounting team, promoting a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes and enhance operational efficiency.
Preferred Qualifications For The Assistant Controller Role
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- Proven experience in accounting or financial management, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and financial analysis.
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
