Why This Opportunity Stands Out:
This Controller role joins a growing manufacturing organization that has recently completed an ERP conversion and is now focused on improving financial visibility, costing accuracy, and decision-making. The business is at a pivotal stage and is seeking a hands-on financial leader who can clarify margins, analyze variances, and partner with operations to drive profitability. It's an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys influencing both day-to-day performance and long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the month-end close process, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and overall financial accuracy.
  • Partner closely with operations to understand production workflows, cost drivers, and opportunities for operational improvement.
  • Monitor cash cycles, DPO, and liquidity metrics; develop practical strategies to strengthen cash management while supporting growth initiatives.
  • Support leadership decision-making related to pricing, customer mix, profitability, and long-term financial direction.
  • Utilize Business Central and advanced Excel to analyze data, build models, and deliver actionable insights.
Qualifications:
  • 5-7 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong background in cost accounting, including variance analysis, margin analysis, and financial modeling.
  • Experience with Business Central or a similar ERP system, along with advanced Excel skills.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to influence financial and operational decisions.
  • Confident, solutions-oriented leader who constructively challenges assumptions and brings forward new ideas.
What You'll Bring:
  • Ability to quickly identify financial issues and implement meaningful improvements.
  • Collaborative mindset with strong partnership skills across finance, operations, and leadership.
  • Curiosity, initiative, and a willingness to dig into details while maintaining a strategic perspective.
  • Commitment to accuracy, continuous improvement, and driving profitability.
