About The OpportunityJoin a growing manufacturing organization where you'll play a key role in product costing, margin analysis, and strategic financial decision-making. Partner closely with the CFO and operations team to improve profitability through cost analysis and forecasting. Opportunity to make a direct impact by driving costing accuracy, identifying trends, and supporting business growth.
Overview- Manage product costing activities, including standard cost updates, purchase price variance (PPV) analysis, and margin reporting. (Approximately 70% of the role.)
- Analyze standard costs, bills of materials (BOMs), custom costs, ocean freight, and other manufacturing costs to ensure accurate product costing.
- Prepare variance and margin analysis, identify trends, and provide forecasting recommendations to improve profitability.
- Support transfer pricing activities between facilities in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, the UK, and the Middle East, providing analysis and recommendations to the CFO. (Approximately 5% of the role.)
- Create and maintain new items within Microsoft Dynamics 365, ensuring bills of materials, pricing, and costing are accurate. (Approximately 10% of the role.)
- Assist with consolidating financial information across multiple locations and support financial reporting initiatives.
- Partner with operations, purchasing, and finance to improve costing processes and reporting accuracy.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong experience with standard costing, purchase price variance (PPV), margin analysis, forecasting, and cost reporting.
- Experience working with bills of materials (BOMs), inventory, and manufacturing cost structures.
- Experience with transfer pricing is a plus.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) is highly preferred.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to analyze large data sets and identify trends.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- You enjoy digging into data to identify trends and improve profitability.
- You are naturally curious and use financial analysis to support business decisions.
- You thrive in a collaborative manufacturing environment and communicate effectively with operations and leadership.

$75,000.00 - $90,000.00, based on experience.
