• Valid physical therapy license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)

• Doctorate degree in physical therapy
• Experience in physical therapy; new graduates are welcome
• Additional certifications or licenses as applicable

The Physical Therapist evaluates, diagnoses, and treats patients with physical impairments to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life. Working in hospitals, clinics, and rehabilitation centers, they develop personalized, evidence‑based treatment plans using exercise and manual therapy.

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using assessments, examinations, and history
• Develop personalized rehab programs based on findings and goals
• Implement treatment plans using techniques to improve mobility and reduce pain
• Operate specialized equipment safely and ensure proper maintenance
• Assess progress, adjust plans, and document evaluations and outcomes
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and others for coordinated care
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise, body mechanics, and prevention strategies
• Maintain a safe environment in compliance with infection control and safety protocols
• Engage in quality assurance and professional development to stay current
• Participate in discharge planning for smooth transitions
• Perform other duties within scope of practice

• Critical thinking, service excellence, and strong interpersonal communication
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in English
• Ability to follow instructions, read/understand written directives, and use PC skills
• Physical ability: remain stationary, move equipment (50–100 lbs), push/pull, bend
• Interpersonal: work effectively with diverse personnel and maintain a positive attitude
• Technical/Motor: fine manipulation, assist procedures, operate departmental equipment
• Mental: cope with frequent public contact, meet deadlines, handle irregular schedules, focus on detail
• Sensory: visual acuity and effective communication
