Responsibilities Human Resource
- Lead full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, and workforce planning initiatives
- Partner with leadership to support organizational growth, staffing plans, and employee development
- Manage employee relations, performance management, corrective actions, and workplace investigations
- Administer compensation programs, benefits, 401(k), leaves of absence, and workers' compensation processes
- Maintain HRIS records, reporting, and data integrity
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations
- Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures, and employee communications
- Lead workplace safety initiatives and OSHA compliance program
- Develop and maintain safety policies, training programs, and documentation
- Conduct facility inspections, audits, and risk assessments
- Investigate workplace incidents and implement corrective action
- Manage OSHA recordkeeping and support regulatory inspection
- Promote a strong safety culture through employee engagement and training
- Track and report HR and safety metrics, including turnover, hiring activity, training completion, attendance, and safety performance
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, employee engagement, retention, and workplace safe
- Support training, recognition, and employee development initiatives across the organization
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Safety Management, or a related field
- 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of employment law, employee relations, compensation, benefits, leave administration, and HR best practices
- Experience administering OSHA programs and workplace safety initiatives
- Proficiency with HRIS systems; experience with Paylocity is a plus
- Experience supporting workers' compensation, ADA accommodations, and return-to-work programs
- Professional certifications such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP are preferred
- Experience supporting manufacturing, packaging, consumer products, food & beverage, industrial, or other production-based environments
- Leadership and employee relations skills
- Ability to balance people-focused decision-making with business objectives
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving ability
- A proactive mindset focused on safety, compliance, and continuous improvement
- Comfortable working onsite and partnering closely with production and leadership teams.
