Overview
PRN The Community Bus Driver plays a critical role for our residents by providing transportation services to and from appointments and activities.
Responsibilities- Provide transportation for residents to and from appointments and activities in a safe and timely manner.
- Operate and manage accessibility equipment, including ramps, wheelchair tie downs and lifts, ensuring resident safety.
- Maintain a calm, supportive, and engaging presence for residents during transport.
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure high-quality service and resident well-being.
- Demonstrates C.A.R.E. values to residents, family members, customers and staff.
- Must be 25 years of age or older. Compassion, Accountability, Relationships and Excellence.
- Valid CDL license required for communities that have a bus carrying 15 or more passengers.
- Good standing and current Operator’s License.
- High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
