Maintenance Technician - 1st Shift

Location: Elkhart, IN

Pay: $30–$35/hr.+ (based on experience)

Schedule: 1st Shift | 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM | Expect 40–50 hours/week with occasional Saturday mornings

As a 1st Shift Maintenance Technician, you’ll help keep operations running smoothly by handling:

• Preventive maintenance
  :
  Regular inspections and service on equipment (mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic)
• Breakdowns
  :
  Fast, effective repair response
• Troubleshooting
  :
  Diagnose issues using schematics, multimeters, blueprints, and tools
• Repairs
  :
  Motors, conveyors, belts, pipe fitting, steam/water systems
• Safety
  :
  Follow strict protocols (LOTO), participate in audits

• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills are a must
• Proactive, organized, and safety‑minded
• Strong communicator with a sense of urgency
• Comfortable in a loud, fast‑paced industrial environment
• Willing to work occasional Saturday mornings for preventive maintenance or projects
