What You will Get:
Responsible for ensuring that all Automation & Robotic Technicians are trained in LCI's best practices for the maintenance and repair of all robots and controllers in the BPC facility. Work closely with Quality and Engineering staff to ensure product quality meets or exceeds LCI quality specifications. Ensure any program or process changes agreed upon by Engineering and Quality are effectively communicated to BPC Maintenance staff.
Respond to any quality concerns and robot faults in a safe and prompt manner. Work with Maintenance and Engineering staff to improve the welding and material handling processes through CI & LEAN initiatives. Work with Maintenance Scheduler Planner and Maintenance Manager to improve PM inspection program.
- Must be able to safely perform maintenance tasks using basic hand and power tools.
- Must be able to safely and proficiently perform basic mechanical troubleshooting and rebuild tasks.
- Must be able to safely and proficiently perform basic troubleshooting and movement of electrical circuits.
- Experience with multi meters and other electrical test equipment.
- Must be able to read electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic prints.
- Must be able to safely operate fork trucks and aerial lifts.
- Walking/standing for 8-10 hours per day.
- May sit for periods of time.
- Prolonged exposure to computer screens.
- Repetitive use of hands to operate computers, robot teach pendants, hand/power tools.
- Ambient shop floor temperature.

Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a Team Member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The Team Member may have to lift and/or move items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
The Team Member may be exposed to dust, fumes, gases, noise, heat, cold, and wet work while performing job duties. This position requires using Personal Protective Equipment.
