Set-Up​/Process Technician in Elkhart

Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced Set‑Up/Process Technician to oversee all tasks associated with Injection Molding machines, robots, dryers, grinders, and all other related manufacturing equipment.

• Installingthe correct molds/inserts into the correct machines
• Prepping and mixing raw materials for production
• Cleaning dryers, grinders, machine hoppers. Cleaning machine off; put all tools away after changeover
• Changingtoolsaccording to which model is needed.
• Changing machine fan filters
• Using the correct tools for the job
• Answering machine alarms.
  
  Identifying and reporting issues and potential issues to the Plant Manager
• Fixing part defects, machine faults
• Adding oil and lubricating fluid to machines as needed
• Able to communicate effectively and respectfully with machine operators and Quality
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures including PPE requirements to perform the job safely

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2 years' hands-on experience in plastic injection molding
• Set-ups, changeovers, tooling, machine maintenance
• Working knowledge in mechanical and technical injection mold machinery
• Forklift experience
• Ability to communicate effectively in English verbal and written
• Adhere to company safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment
• Ability to stand, bend, reach, and liftfrequentlythroughout the shift

• This is a Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire position
• Payrate is $20.00 $ 21.00 per hour, depending on shift
