CNC Mill Machinist
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated CNC Mill Machinist for our 1st shift operation. The role involves full machine setups, performing offsets, changing out tooling, reading G/M coding and blueprints, holding tolerances to the half thousandths, and utilizing precision measurement tools. The CNC Mills are Fanuc controlled, and the role may occasionally require operating multiple Mills simultaneously and using an overhead crane to move parts.
Responsibilities- Perform full machine setups and make necessary adjustments.
- Change out tooling and perform offsets.
- Read and interpret blueprints and G/M coding.
- Hold tolerances to the half thousandths using precision measurement tools.
- Operate Fanuc controlled CNC Mills, occasionally manage multiple machines.
- Utilize an overhead crane for moving parts when necessary.
- 5+ years of job shop machining experience, including multiple setups/change-outs per day.
- 5+ years of CNC Mill experience, preferably with Fanuc controls.
- Proficiency in setting up, changing out tooling, and making adjustments.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and understand G & M code.
- Capability to hold tolerances of +/- half thousandths.
Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to program CNC G-codes from a print or model.
- Experience with Mastercam or Fusion programming.
- Ownership of precision measurement tools such as micrometers and calipers.
- Experience with overhead crane/hoist operations.

Work EnvironmentWork in a small shop environment where everyone knows each other. The 1st shift operates from Monday to Friday, 5am to 1:30pm.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elkhart, IN.
Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
