Job Overview

Assemblies in Elkhart, IN. 1st shift 6am-4:30pm Monday‑Thursday with overtime Fridays. Pay $18/HR. Position is responsible for assembling general assemblies to specifications using blueprints, assembly schematics and written instructions. The role also includes testing products as required and identifying functional and cosmetic problems, making the appropriate corrections.

• Read, comprehend, and follow assembly blueprints and work orders.
• Perform inventory transactions, including scrap procedures and unplanned transaction forms.
• Execute test procedures and complete necessary test forms and documentation.
• Use basic computer skills to navigate AS400, perform look‑up screens, log‑on/off jobs, use EBPDM, and utilize other systems as necessary.
• Use rulers and scales accurately.
• Conduct visual quality inspections and identify deviations from specifications or flaws.
• Identify all defects in the Assembly Lessons Learned books.
• Complete general assemblies at the established production rates.
• Efficiently perform general assemblies.
• Package monitors as required by management.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

High School diploma or equivalent.

1–4 years of relevant experience.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous assembly experience.
• Frequently lifts heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.).
• Job may require physical exertion such as long periods of standing.
• Job may require above‑average agility and dexterity.
