Responsibilities
- You will lead a team of Biochemists that manufacture bioconjugate components of immunoassay reagents.
- You will support production scheduling, purchasing of externally sourced raw materials, and ensuring that production processes are completed expediently without sacrificing quality.
- You will assist with problem solving and technical troubleshooting of conjugate manufacturing processes and associated equipment.
- You have very good interpersonal skills and are able to effectively lead a production team as well as interface with external suppliers, internal technical stakeholders, and others in the customer environment, showing team orientation, communication skills, and customer orientation.
- You will demonstrate expertise in protein biochemistry, especially bioconjugation techniques.
- You will utilize your expertise in size exclusion chromatography, including mastery of FPLC operation and troubleshooting.
- You will perform manufacturing resource planning, especially familiarity with SAP PP and MM modules. You will monitor key performance indicators for production timeliness and customer satisfaction and ensure Class A Manufacturing performance.
- You will have experience in Lean manufacturing and help promote Lean philosophy to improve productivity while also minimizing waste.
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry, or equivalent experience required.
- Minimum of 5-8 years reagent manufacturing experience; including experience in a GMP/GDP environment.
- Demonstrated leadership experience, strong work ethic, and professional demeanor.
$99,930 - $137,401 (Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.)
