3rd Shift CNC Machine Operator Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated CNC Machine Operator for our 3rd shift team responsible for operating various machines to manufacture firefighting equipment, including handline nozzles, apparatus valves, fittings, industrial valves, adapters, caps, and plugs.

• Operate CNC machines to manufacture firefighting equipment.
• Perform quality checks to ensure high standards.
• Lift up to 50 pounds as required during operations.

• 1+ years of machine operating experience.
• Experience performing quality checks.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.

• 1+ years of setup, change outs, offsets, and operation of CNC Lathe machinery, Okuma preferred.
• Proficiently read and interpret blueprints with up to 100 dimensions.
• Utilize precision measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
• Experience with tight tolerances up to +/- .001.
• Understanding of G & M codes.

The 401K plan has a matching contribution of 50% up to 6% after 90 days. PTO is available after 90 days with two weeks from January 1st. Performance raises are offered along with a boot allowance of $150 per year.

There are nine paid holidays, including one floating holiday. The company ensures stability even during slower RV industry times and offers flexibility on overtime.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elkhart, IN.

The pay range for this position is $21.63 - $24.13/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Elkhart,IN.
