Maintenance Technician

As we continue to grow at our Elkhart, Indiana facility, we're looking for a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot and repair production equipment, perform preventive maintenance, support electrical and mechanical systems, and help ensure safe, reliable, and efficient manufacturing operations.
What You Will Be Doing
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to minimize equipment downtime and maintain efficient production operations
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on manufacturing equipment, identifying issues before they impact safety, quality, or productivity
- Diagnose and resolve problems with PLCs, motors, drives, sensors, conveyors, and other automated production equipment
- Support equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives to improve reliability, efficiency, and overall plant performance
- Maintain accurate maintenance documentation while following all safety, quality, and environmental procedures to ensure compliance with company standards
What You Need for This Position
- High school diploma or GED required; technical certification, vocational training, or related maintenance education preferred.
- 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or production environment; plastics, rubber, extrusion, or roll-forming experience preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, including motors, drives, conveyors, gearboxes, bearings, and power transmission equipment.
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting PLC-controlled equipment to identify and resolve production and equipment issues; PLC programming experience is a plus.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation, with proficiency using hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and CMMS software.
