Laboratory Technician

Shift: Mon - Fri, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM – 40 Hours/Week

This is an entry-level position in a Manufacturing group that is responsible for producing reagents for in-vitro diagnostic assays. Candidates with limited laboratory experience will be considered. Applicants with industrial experience and knowledge of GMP/ISO will be preferred.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic and professional demeanor.

• Supports production operations with routine stocking, cleaning of manufacturing areas, and other lab support duties.
• Performs low-complexity manufacturing operations and equipment support, including column maintenance, equipment maintenance, and/or cleaning.
• Performs glassware washing.
• Provides material inventory monitoring support.
• Collaborates with laboratory biochemists to order required buffers to meet the weekly schedule.
• Supports the Buffer Manufacturing Lab as needed.
• Conducts 5S audits of laboratories for adherence to cleanliness, maintenance, and organization expectations.

• B.S./B.A./A.S. in a relevant field or relevant work experience preferred.
• Candidates with limited laboratory experience will be considered.
• Industrial experience and knowledge of GMP/ISO are preferred.
