Laboratory Technician

Shift: 8 AM to 5 PM (some flexibility) - Monday to Friday

This position is for the Healthcare Diagnostics division.

We are looking for a Laboratory Technician

• This is an entry-level position in a Manufacturing group that is responsible for producing reagents for in
  - vitro diagnostic assays.
• Candidates with limited laboratory experience will be considered.
• Applicants with industrial experience and knowledge of GMP/ISO will be preferred.
• Local candidates are preferred.
• The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic and professional demeanor. Supports production operations with routine stocking, cleaning of manufacturing areas, other lab support duties.
• Low complexity manufacturing operations and equipment support (column maintenance, equipment maintenance, and/or cleaning).
• Glassware washing.
• Material inventory monitoring support.
• Collaborating with laboratory biochemists to order required buffers to meet the weekly schedule.
• Support the Buffer manufacturing lab as needed.
• 5S audits of laboratories for adherence to cleanliness, maintenance, and organization expectations.

• B.S./B.A./A.S. in relevant field or relevant work experience preferred.
• The ideal candidate will be proficient in time management, possess well developed interpersonal skills, demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, and exhibit attention to detail.
