Laboratory Technician

Job Description

• This is an entry level position in a Manufacturing group that is responsible for producing reagents for in-vitro diagnostic assays.
• Candidates with limited laboratory experience will be considered.
• Applicants with industrial experience and knowledge of GMP/ISO will be preferred.
• Local candidates are preferred.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic and professional demeanor

• • Supports production operations with routine stocking, cleaning of manufacturing areas, other lab support duties
• • Low complexity manufacturing operations and equipment support (column maintenance, equipment maintenance and/or cleaning)
• • Glassware washing
• • Material inventory monitoring support
• • Collaborating with laboratory biochemists to order required buffers to meet weekly schedule
• • Support Buffer manufacturing lab as needed
• • 5S audits of laboratories for adherence to cleanliness, maintenance, and organization expectations

B.S./B.A./A.S. in relevant field or relevant work experience preferred.

• The ideal candidate will be proficient in time management, possess well developed interpersonal skills, demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, and exhibit attention to detail.
