Plasma Center Nurse - RN

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent, medical history interview, physical examination, blood testing, and review of serologic protein electrophoresis results.
• Manage donor adverse events and follow SOPs for medical emergencies.
• Review laboratory test results and notify donors of unsuitable results.
• Support Hepatitis B and seasonal flu vaccination programs for employees.
• Assist in employee incident management and determine need for occupational health evaluation.
• Act as Pandemic Coordinator and support investigations of local pandemic threats as authorized by EHS.
• Provide center-level support for environmental, health and safety (EHS).
• Adhere to plasma collection regulations and industry standards.

• High school diploma or equivalent, or graduate-equivalent nursing program meeting state requirements.
• Current RN, NP or PA license in the state of assignment.
• Current CPR and AED certification.
• Fulfillment of state basic IV therapy requirements.
• Completion of FDA‑approved training for Bio Life Medical Support Specialist.
• Two or more years of clinical or hospital experience.

• Hourly wage: $33.44 – $45.98 (USA – IN – Elkhart).
