Nurse Practitioner

Reports to the Director for administrative supervision and the Practice Site Physician or designee for clinical supervision. Responsible for the coordination and delivery of comprehensive occupational to patients and employer partners at designated work sites and clinic locations.

This role supports employee health, workplace safety, injury prevention, regulatory compliance, and return-to-work outcomes, while delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

The Nurse Practitioner actively contributes to Beacon's mission by delivering care that is clinically excellent, preventative, and aligned to employer and community needs. Collaborates in the education of nursing students, medical residents, and other healthcare learners.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Nursing required;
Master's preferred

Graduate of accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Current Indiana RN and NP licensure required

National certification required

Prescriptive authority or eligibility within 6 months

Minimum 2 years clinical experience preferred (occupational health, urgent care, or primary care strongly preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of clinical practice standards and occupational health regulations

Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic reasoning skills

Ability to manage both individual patient care and population/employer health needs

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to work collaboratively in fast-paced, variable-demand environments
