American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an outpatient Oncology Clinic position requiring 2 years of oncology experience and ACLS certification.

• Outpatient oncology clinic setting
• Medical oncology patient population
• Day shift schedule, Monday-Friday, 5x8 hours , may vary slightly)
• No weekends or on-call required
• Travelers must float based on facility census and staffing needs

• Active IN or compact RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Chemo (ONS/ONCC) and OCN certifications preferred
• Minimum 2 years of oncology nursing experience required
• Cerner charting system experience preferred
• Skilled in chemotherapy administration, monitoring, and continuous infusion
• Experience with isolation precautions/PPE and neutropenic precautions
• Wound care and tracheostomy care/management experience preferred

• Provide direct patient care including chemotherapy administration and monitoring
• Deliver patient and family education and psychosocial support
• Perform post-surgical care as needed
• Royal blue scrubs required
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
• Former employees must be separated from the facility for 3 years before returning as a traveler
• Maximum of 10 days RTO permitted; candidates requesting holiday RTO must be willing to work one of the three major holidays
• First-time travelers will be considered
