Quality Control Specialist

In this role, you will be reporting to the Quality Control Manager, and you will be responsible for all activities specific to in-process quality control adjustments required to ensure products that are manufactured and packaged meet and/or exceed customer expectations for quality, performance and appearance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for quality inspections and the adjustment of Finished Goods and Intermediate batches during the manufacturing process.
  • Must review all adjustments to the final product with the Quality Specialist prior to can-out and shipment.
  • Performs all tests of in-process batches for physical characteristics and review with the Quality Specialist the necessary adjustments to bring them into specification. Responsibility also includes proper documentation of the batch ticket, the quality control card data, and in Navision.
  • Responsible for conducting required Quality testing on incoming raw materials and finished products. Laboratory equipment use includes, but not limited to, the Gas Chromatograph, Karl Fischer titrations, and Anton Paar / C & P viscometers.
  • Make batch adjustments to production batches, as required by the Quality Specialist.
  • Perform Dirt Check Filtration process on Finished Goods as required by Customer Qualifications

Minimum high school diploma and 3 years' experience in a quality, manufacturing and/or laboratory environment. Spraymation experience a plus. Computer literacy desired for recertification tracking and Lactec back-up requirements.
