Quality Assurance Manager

Our food manufacturing client is looking to hire a Quality Assurance Manager. The QA Manager is responsible for management of quality, safety, sanitation and testing to ensure that the product and its manufacturing processes meet company quality and safety standards.

Job Qualifications:

• Coaches and develops staff in a manner which results in qualified, productive, and satisfied employees who are able to successfully respond to changing customer needs
• Facilitates regular staff meetings to provide information and review and address issues or concerns (MRR’s, customer complaints, action forms, new specifications, etc.)
• Identifies and provides training and coaching opportunities
• Provides ongoing performance management and maintains applicable documentation
• Develops, with staff, objectives for quality and product improvement
• Understands and applies policies and procedures fairly and consistently

Comply with all GMP and Food Safety guidelines

Follow plant safety rules and wear appropriate safety equipment

Attend all plant, Quality and Safety Trainings, as required

Laboratory duties with respect to quality:

• Moisture analysis
• pH
• Particle size distribution
• Preparing and maintaining samples for testing and retains, etc.
