The Centre for Health Policy (CHP) at the Asian Development Research Institute (ADRI) in Patna has been set up with support from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation to strengthen the health sector in Bihar with a multi-dimensional and multi-disciplinary approach. Its aim is to engage in rigorous analysis of the health system and inform policy makers to fine-tune interventions for even stronger outcomes.

• PhD in Demography/Population Studies/Statistics/Economics.
• Demonstrable knowledge in applied econometric and demographic methods as indicated by high quality publications
• Well versed with advanced quantitative methods such as multilevel modelling, survival analysis, three-stage least square modelling, propensity score matching and so on by using STATA software
• Knowledge of techniques of mathematical demography, particularly, methods of population projection
• Excellent command over Hindi and English language and writing skill in English

• Carrying out advanced econometric analysis as per need of the study
• Provide help in writing as per need
• Secondary data collection and compilation
• Occasional field visits will be required

Remuneration: Remuneration will be commensurate with knowledge, experience and quality of publications. Maximum Rs. 1.00 Lakh per month will be offered for the deserving candidate.
