As a Maintenance Technician, you will be a critical part of keeping our manufacturing team operating at full capacity. The Maintenance Technician responds to and troubleshoots electrical and/or mechanical problems, dismantling, repairing, rebuilding, and maintaining existing machinery and equipment to keep our equipment at its optimal condition.

• Dismantle, rebuild, and reassemble machinery using hand and power tools
• Install wiring of electronic devices
• Install a wide range of new and used equipment
• Wiring new electrical panels by following electrical drawings/prints
• Install both water and electrical plumbing
• Support required ISO documents/records associated with this department
• Observe and listen to operating machinery or equipment in order to diagnose machine malfunctions and determine the need for adjustments or repairs
• Maintain the preventive maintenance on equipment as scheduled
• Complete yearly RCRA Hazardous Waste and DOT Initial Training/Annual Review

• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Knowledge of electrical wiring and components
• Experience with 120V, 240V, 480V 3 phase and low voltage controls
• Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals, diagrams and blueprints (German equipment)
• Ability to work independently; self‑starter
• May be requested to perform over‑time activities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Forklift driving experience desired

• Completion of High School, GED or equivalent
• 2-5 years of experience working as a Maintenance Technician or Electrical Technician, maintaining and repairing mechanical and electrical problems
• Knowledge of OSHA and EPA requirements (examples: Lock Out/Tag Out, Pinch Points, electrical codes, HMIS/MSDS requirements, waste disposal)
• Must comply with all company rules and policies

The employee operates within a plant environment and is exposed to loud continuous noise from surrounding operating machinery.

This is an active role in a manufacturing environment. The employee must stand, balance or walk consistently, may be required to twist, turn, stoop, squat, kneel, bend or reach frequently, use safe lifting techniques for objects up to 50 pounds, and perform repetitive hand/wrist movements including forearm rotation. Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
