Maintenance Technician

In this critical role, you will be responsible for maintaining the overall condition, safety, and functionality of company facilities. This role focuses on facility upkeep, preventative maintenance, and timely repair of building systems, equipment, and infrastructure to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.

Responsibilities

Duties:

  • Perform advanced vehicle or facility maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues as needed.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and update work orders in the system.
  • Assist in the installation, modification, and relocation of equipment or systems.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
  • Respond promptly to emergency repair requests and minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with contractors, vendors, and other team members for specialized repairs or projects.
  • Maintain tools, supplies, and spare parts inventory in organized condition.
  • Support facility improvement projects and provide input on maintenance planning.
  • All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Position requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in maintenance, facilities, or a related field.
  • Valid driver’s license in good standing.
  • Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
  • Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Basic computer skills for recordkeeping and work order systems.

Physical requirements:

  • Must be able to lift, push and pull a minimum of 50 pounds.
  • Will be required to do frequent kneeling, stooping, squatting, crawling, and climbing to perform multiple tasks of position.
  • Must have good manual dexterity.
