Entry Level Maintenance Technician

We are currently seeking an entry-level maintenance candidate who is mechanically inclined to join our maintenance team.

As part of the maintenance department at MORryde you will support our manufacturing operations by:

• Supporting equipment installations
• Assisting team members with training or troubleshooting to minimize downtime

The ideal candidate should have some basic knowledge of maintenance and electrical repairs, but most importantly, display a positive, team-oriented attitude.

• Customer focused attitude with the ability to work with a sense of urgency
• Complex problem solving/critical thinking skills
• Ability to work with a diverse staff
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Team player mentality
  
  Ability to maintain attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality
• Ability to continuously observe and promote safety standards
• Willingness to make decisions but know when to include others in the decision-making process
• Exhibits sound and accurate judgment

Equipment that the maintenance department is responsible for includes, but is not limited to, flatbed and tube lasers, press brakes, CNC mills and lathes, saws, finishing machines, and welding equipment including both manual and robotic.

Opportunities offered could include Industrial Electric Certifications with Ivy Tech Community College or training with FANUC, Lincoln Robotic Welding, and more!
