American Electric Power in Elkhart, IN is seeking an entry-level Line Mechanic Apprentice to assist with installation, maintenance, inspection, and operation of transmission and distribution facilities, including overhead and underground lines. Under direct supervision, you will help assemble line material, install hardware, splice wires, and learn to operate Company equipment as you progress.
A valid driver’s license is required, CDL permit within 60 days, and willingness to travel up to 45
