TROMAN INDUSTRIES | NORTH AMERICA | FULL-TIME

Troman Industries is seeking an Equipment Installer responsible for the installation, testing, and support of safety and monitoring systems on transit, coach, and specialty vehicles.

Key responsibilities
  • Install video mirror systems, event data recorders, fire suppression systems, and related equipment.
  • Perform wiring, troubleshooting, and system testing.
  • Read and interpret installation drawings and technical documentation.
  • Travel to customer facilities throughout North America.
  • Train customers on proper equipment usage and maintenance.
  • Maintain installation records and project documentation.
Required experience
  • 2+ years of experience in vehicle electrical systems, fleet maintenance, or equipment installation.
  • Experience reading wiring diagrams and schematics.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to travel up to 75%.
  • Experience working with buses, coaches, heavy trucks, or rail equipment.
  • Knowledge of low-voltage electrical systems.
  • Ability to work independently in the field.
  • Detail-oriented and safety-focused.
